| Photo Board (URGENT) | As we are celebrating 50 years of Hobie Sailing in Australia, we are calling ALL Hobie Sailors to bring along their favourite moments from past events to share with the Hobie Family. Please email your memories through to Paddy at patbutler1999@gmail.com Alternatively, bring along your favourite Hobie Photo Albums to share with the rest of the Hobie Family. |
| Daily Dress Code | Promoting our unique nature and flare for the extravagance, each day of Series 1 & 2 will have a theme to it (not inclusive preso' night) - Day 1: will entail sailors to wear their oldest and/or favourite sailing shirt from a previous Hobie event - Day 2: will be dubbed: "Retro Cowboy Sailing". Take the theme, and use it as you so desire. - Day 3: will encompass Sailors coming dressed sporting matching outfits to their chosen sail. - Day 4: all sailors must wear Hawaiian shirts; naturally. |
| VSC's Canteen | The VSC's Canteen will be operating daily during the Nationals from 0700 - 1200 hrs. Cash & Eftpos will be available. BREAKFAST 7am-10am - egg/bacon rolls and vegetarian hash brown/falafel rolls. (GF rolls available) - Independent coffee vans will be within walking distance to the VSC and are open to the public. LUNCH - Ready made sandwiches will be available to purchase from 0700 - 1200 hrs. - Soft drinks, water, chocolate, muesli bars, ice blocks, lolly bags & chips will be available to purchase daily. - Independent food vans will be on site from 1200 hrs and are open to the public. |
| VSC's Finska Competition | To complement the 50th Australian Hobie Cat Nationals happening on the water, the VSC thought we'd tap into one of our favourite off-water activities: Finska. Taking place over the span of the regatta (or however long it takes), this will be a knockout round-robin competition, where teams of two will verse one another in a battle-royale to discover who is the true Finska Champions of Jervis Bay. | Photographers Wanted | Along with our main man behind the lens, Brad Sissins, we are looking for some budding photographers who would be keen to capture some of the moments, both on and off the water, during both Series 1 & 2.
