Held over the Labour Day long weekend, 7-9 March, the VIC States are shaping up to be exciting in every sense of the word.
After spending last season predominantly on the eastern side of Port Philip Bay, it’s time to get out of the hustle and bustle of metro Melbourne!
Loch Sport Boat Club is thrilled to host HCAV’s 2026 States, and with a caravan park right next door, and plenty of lovely and well-priced Air BnB’s in town there’s accommodation options to suit all tastes and budgets.
Get ready for three days of incredible racing, good vibes, and the best of Victorian Hobie sailing on the stunning Gippsland Lakes.
Exciting news for women sailors!
Thanks to the Sail Our Way grant, we’re thrilled to offer 50% off entry fees for:
- Women sailing single-handed boats,
- Double-handed boats where both sailors are women.
There’ll also be special prizes for women and girls across the fleet, recognising and celebrating the growing strength of women in Hobie sailing!

If you are competing in the 2025 Victorian State Championships, at least ONE person on your boat MUST be a financial member of your State Association.
